Once work is agreed, businesses still need a reliable way to schedule it, assign the right staff, and keep track of progress without it falling through the cracks.

How KookaCRM solves it

Jobs are created from accepted quotes, bookings or directly by staff, and can be assigned to a team member with a scheduled time. Job status is tracked from scheduled through to completed. For businesses coordinating multiple field staff, an optional Field Dispatch view groups jobs by technician and day to make day-to-day coordination easier. Field Dispatch is a beta capability that needs to be switched on for a tenant — it is not enabled automatically.

How it works

  1. A job is created from an accepted quote, a booking, or directly by staff, then

  2. The job is assigned to a staff member and given a scheduled time, then

  3. Staff update the job status as work progresses, then

  4. Where Field Dispatch is enabled, jobs can also be viewed grouped by technician and day, then

  5. Once work is finished, the job is marked complete and billing continues through invoicing

Availability

Core job scheduling, assignment and status tracking are available to every tenant. Field Dispatch — the dedicated technician-and-day coordination view — is a beta, optional add-on that needs to be enabled for your business. KookaCRM does not currently offer route optimisation, a native mobile app, automatic customer ETA text messages, in-app photo or signature capture, or automatic invoice creation when a job is marked complete.
