Retail and hybrid businesses want to sell physical products online alongside their regular service work, without forcing every product sale through the quoting or job pipeline.

KookaCRM's product catalogue and store keep product purchases as commerce orders, separate from jobs. Checkout is paid upfront through Stripe, and the order is only marked paid once the exact amount is confirmed by the payment webhook. Jobs are only created if actual service work needs to be added alongside the product.

List active, public products in the catalogue, choose a selling mode (buy now, enquiry only, or both) per product, and connect Stripe Connect so checkout can take payment. Use the order inbox and enquiry inbox to manage fulfilment.

Customer entry point: Storefront checkout — the customer browses the public product store or hosted storefront, adds products to a cart, and checks out.

Service pricing model: Catalogue / retail: published product prices with cart-based checkout, separate from quote-to-invoice or callout pricing used for service work.

Payment is collected upfront through Stripe Checkout as one aggregated line item for the exact order total. The order is only marked paid once the webhook confirms the paid amount matches exactly — there is no partial or overpayment handling.

The product catalogue's online store, hosted storefronts and checkout are a beta capability and are not enabled for every tenant by default. Live Stripe checkout is blocked in sandbox workspaces, which can use Stripe test mode instead.
